During my summer internship, I was lucky enough to spend time working with the College World Series of Omaha Inc. I wrote over 15 press releases ( some of which were published on various national and local news outlets, well as on the College World Series Website) for the CWS, distributed them, and scheduled media follow-ups. Additionally, one of my tasks was media management, and through a software system, I analyzed the hundreds of articles that mentioned the CWS every day and pulled out relevant articles for sharing with the client. Once the College World Series ended, I created an after action report that was presented to the NCAA and College World Series of Omaha Inc. that included all of the relevant articles I had pulled.
